Program Description
The 30-hour General Industry Safety and Health Program is intended to provide workers with some safety responsibility a greater depth and variety of training on an expanded list of topics associated with workplace hazards in general industry.
The Program provides training for workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in their workplaces. The program also provides information regarding workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint.
The OSHA 30-hour General Industry Course has been designed to deliver various training to working professionals with health and safety responsibility. This training emphasizes learners to identify, prevent, control and avert hazards in workplace, as well as OSHA standards.
